My name is Jim LiCalzi. I'm a partner and the associate general counsel here at Duffy and Duffy. I've been practicing law for 32 years, and I've been at Duffy and Duffy since January of 2001. Before Duffy and Duffy, I worked at one of the largest medical malpractice defense firms here on Long Island, representing doctors in hospitals. But I made a decision to switch over to representing patients because that's where my passion lies. In 2022, I had the good fortune of representing a young man who was injured in the labor and delivery process and achieved the highest verdict in the state of New York.
