Girl Bitten by Ants Passed Away Due to Hospital’s Negligence

You may have heard that recently a two-year-old girl was bitten by a group of fire ants and had a horrible and severe allergic reaction. She went to the hospital having signs of an allergic reaction, shortness of breath, and breathing issues. The hospital delayed over 20 minutes in giving her epinephrine, otherwise known as adrenaline. There was a further delay caused by the hospital staff looking for the right-sized equipment to intubate a two-year-old, which apparently they did not have in stock.
