James LiCalzi, partner at Duffy & Duffy, is a seasoned civil litigator with years of experience in representing catastrophically injured individuals in both complex medical malpractice and significant personal injury cases. He handles matters in both New York State and the United States Federal Courts. He is also experienced in representing clients before appellate courts. Prior to joining Duffy & Duffy, he was associated with one of the largest medical malpractice and personal injury defense firms on Long Island.

Mr. LiCalzi is a member of the American Association for Justice, the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers, the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Nassau County Bar Association. In addition, he has also been a lecturer for the Nassau County Bar Association and the National Business Institute on a wide variety of topics for fellow legal professionals.

In 1993, Mr. LiCalzi earned his Juris Doctorate degree from St. John’s University of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College.
