Mary Ellen Duffy
Mary Ellen Duffy is a partner at the law firm of Duffy & Duffy. As a seasoned litigator in all aspects of litigation, Ms. Duffy focuses on medical malpractice and personal injury cases from initial evaluation through trial advocacy. Ms. Duffy has a law degree from Fordham Law School and a Bachelor’s degree from New York University. In 2011, Super Lawyers Magazine voted her as one of their “Rising Stars”.Ms. Duffy is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, the New York State Bar, the Nassau County Bar Association, the Women in the Courts Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Medical Malpractice Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association, the American Association of Justice (fka American Trial Lawyers Association), the Queens County Women’s Bar Association and was the former Executive at Large on the Board of Directors of Life’s WORC, an organization helping those with developmental disabilities and autism.
Mary Ellen is a passionate believer in advocating for patient’s rights, a devoted volunteer to charitable causes and a philanthropic contributor and lover of the arts.
